Fereydoun Taslimi

FOUNDER, DESIGN & GO TO MARKET

Fereydoun has founded over 10 companies in various areas of technologies including multilingual computer systems and integration, smart switches, voice processing, interactive voice response systems, fax servers, Java development tools, knowledge management, information discovery and network monitoring and security.

Fereydoun holds honors bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from King’s College London and a master’s degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Anand Krishnan

CO-FOUNDER, PLATFORM ENGINEERING

Anand is an entrepreneur and technologist with over 20 years of experience building and leading high-performing technology teams in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has founded a technology services company, a renewable energy company and a AI talent platform company. His experience includes business and technology strategy, software product development, marketing and business development, program management and leadership coaching.
Anand holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Bangalore University and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Mitch Kapa

CO-FOUNDER, HARDWARE ENGINEERING

Mitch’s focus for the past 16 years at Echostar was leading multiple hardware projects with designs focused on low cost, reliability, and manufacturability. In addition to being responsible for the electronic design and testing, he worked closely with the software development, mechanical, manufacturing and quality assurance teams as well as contract manufacturers and component vendors.
Mitch graduated magna cum laude in electrical engineering from Auburn University.

Payman Arabshahi

CO-FOUNDER, R&D

Payman is a principal research scientist with the University of Washington’s Applied Physics Laboratory. His previous experience includes holding a senior technical staff position in the Communications Architectures and Research Section of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His research interests inlcude wireless communications and networking, sensor networks and signal processing.
Payman obtained his bachelor’s degree (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Alabama and his doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Washington.

Lili Varzi (& Bijoux)

CO-FOUNDER, CRM

Lili has 25+ years experience in the consumer goods industry with heavy emphasis on customer relationship management (CRM) with companies including Coca Cola, Colgate Palmolive, PepsiCo, P&G, Dole Foods and McKesson Pharmaceutical. Her expertise includes design of sales and marketing strategies and processes as well as decision support platform architecture and solutions.
Lili holds a Master of Science degree in technology management and studied for her doctorate at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Shahram Famorzadeh

CO-FOUNDER

Dr. Famorzadeh spent 20 years with Nuesoft Technologies as a CTO. Having helped to deliver a fully functional internet based Practice Management System by December of 1999, he continued to work on developing an open framework that met the demands of a fast moving cloud based healthcare sector. Nuesoft was eventually sold to AdvancedMD where he successfully lead the AWS migration of a their 20 year old infrastructure. Priot to joining Nuesoft, Shahram worked for Conexant systems where as a System Architect he helped deliver the first DSLAM chip sets.
For the most of the 90s, he was a Research Engineer at CSSIP, Center for Signal, Speech and Image Processing at Georgia Tech, where he worked on a DARPA-sponsored project that lead him to cloud computing. His first job right after school was with Schlumberger industries as an Embedded Hardware/Software Engineer. Dr. Famorzadeh holds several patents in Healthcare and Telecommunication fields. Dr. Famorzadeh received a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Tennessee. Later, he earned both his M.S.E.E. degree and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
